Oslo-based Damokles released their debut album "Nights Come Alive" last year on Vinter Records. The follow-up “Swing, Pendulum, Swing” is due out October 2023, also on Vinter, and now single no. 1 from the upcoming album is here! "Swing,Pendulum, Swing" is the title track from album two, and sees DAMOKLES furthermutating their sound. Sonically, the song serves as an ominous taste of what toexpect on this new outing; atmospheric melancholia drenched in 80s post-punkgloom, mixed with discordant cathartic fury. Thematically, "Swing, Pendulum, Swing"is about the fragility of our existence – the pendulum of fate which mercilessly swingsbetween creation and destruction.
